This is a gallery quality Giclée reproduction of the drawing, Just a Hare.
The original was drawn on 9" x 12" toned tan paper with colored pencils. I chose to work on this piece as a study for a larger painting that is in the works. The hare's fur blends in with the toned tan paper so beautifully it practically seems like it's natural environment. The warm tones of the hare and the paper would make a nice companion in a reading area or study. Don't let the smug look in his eye fool you. He can't even read.
